I just wanted to throw a quick update out there to the world, as I said, I'm trying to get more regular on this. We'll start with the Good News first and hit the Bad News at the end.
I'm still very hopeful that Dead Teenager RPG will be released before Halloween, it looks promising anyway. And I mean Halloween 2013.
The releases have been well received so far, I haven't seen any hate mail yet.
Scott Holden, Publisher Relations at One Book Shelf was impressed with both 1%er and One Foot in the Grave. He's the guy who was largely responsible for OFitG getting in the DTRPG Newsletter. Both he and Matt McElroy have been extremely helpful with everything over there, I absolutely couldn't get done what I have without them.
Megan Robertson, from RPG Resource, reviewed OFitG and Dude, Run! 4 out of 5 Stars each! Megan does a huge amount of RPG reviews, so that was very cool of her to take time for mine. Those reviews can be found HERE.
All in all, not too shabby for basically being a one man operation (I get help here and there with edit checks and Dude, Run! had professional art).
Now for the Bad News...
I'm going to be pushing Critical Mass into 2014. I just don't feel I have the time to do the game the justice that it deserves. I know, I suck. I would just rather not sell crap if I can help it.
To make up for it, I'm going to be working on getting all my books together so people can get "dead tree" copies. They will be available through DriveThruRPG...and screw it, I'll get them up on Amazon too. Nothing screams, "I made it" like having a book on Amazon (not really, it's actually pretty easy.)!
Tomorrow I think I'm going to get some sales numbers up, just so everyone can see what's been going on over here.
Back to work.
